Beschrijving
Cornelis Bos is de zoon van Albert Bos (gedoopt Oud Alblas, 22-7-1770; overl. Geervliet, 2-9-1852) die timmerman van beroep is. Het is onbekend of hij schaatsen maakte. Cornelis is hoefsmid in Numansdorp en maakt daar krulschaatsen. Ook zijn zonen Hendrik en Klaas maken later schaatsen.
